Chin Yung Yen of Tien-Tsin Is Learned on Constitutional Law

The Columbia University Council, at a meeting held yesterday, made award of the various fellowships of the institution. The first fellowship ever granted by Columbia to a Chinaman was awarded to Chin Yung Yen of Tien-Tsin. Mr. Yen’s specialty is constitutional law. He was a student at the Imperial Tien-tsin University from 1893-1901, and received a bachelor’s degree from the Government in 1901. Source : query.nytimes.com |
